Experienced brick matchers often have no trouble in identifying what the original brick was. The challenge now is to find the closest match that is actually available.
The original brick was made at a local works in Pluckley which shut down nearly 30 years ago. Although the samples we provided were from Holland, they were deemed to be the closest match possible at the time.
Another bonus was that we found the bricks in stock in a local merchant and within the builders budget.
